CP Social Studies: Semester Portfolio Requirements

1.     Weekly participation in online advisory hour: Mondays, 2-3pm

2.     Weekly sample of 1-2 critical thinking questions and answers from text (assigned by IST and posted by student)

3.     Weekly discussion posts about current events (assigned by Department Chair and posted by student)

4.     Current event position paper (based on review and analysis of a current event and supported by research)

5.     Research paper or project, including at least two graphic elements (e.g., timeline, chart, map, illustration, graph, political cartoon):

a.     Fall semester: research paper

b.     Spring semester: research project with accompanying formal presentation
