  • Check out hands on geometry projects that involve real life projects.
  • Arithmetwists  by Creative Publications are enrichment activities that help build problem solving skills. A series of puzzles and activities in different subject areas. Great for creating/ thinking, performing and inventing students.
  • Make up songs or listen to songs to help memorize math concepts.
  • Act out story problems and create own word problems to solve.
  • Use pictures and diagrams to solve problems.

  • Touch Math is a K-3 multi-sensory math program designed for kinesthetic learners.
  • K-12 comprehensive hands on math program is Math U See. This is great for visual learners because it comes with intructional DVD's.
  • Shiller Math is a complete Montessori based program for K-7. Great for families with multiple students because they come in kits. They offer free diagnostic tests online and come with completely scripted teacher guides.
