Board Member Appointment:

Edna Fogarty: Edna comes to our board after 20 years as a bilingual teacher in Healdsburg. She worked for ten years in elementary bilingual services, then took off two years to join the Peace Corps, a lifelong dream. After serving in Grenada, as a teacher trainer in Language Arts, she worked for ten more years teaching core subjects in Spanish and English as a Second Language in the Junior High. Before Healdsburg, she taught for five years on the East Coast. Now retired, her passions are beekeeping, organic gardening, volunteering with Hospice, Serving on the Pathways Board, and spending time with her six awesome grandchildren. She has a grandson who graduated from Pathways in 2010, and three more grandchildren currently at Pathways.

Tim Dimock: Tim has ten years experience in education, largely devoted to developing classroom practice for the Alternative Education Department of the Sonoma County Office of Education.  He has served in both community and court school programs and currently teaches at the Sonoma County Probation Camp. In addition to teaching he has served on the SCOE negotiations team for three years. He is currently registered to attend meetings for the North Bay Training Collaborative for Redesigning the Teacher Evaluation System.  He has served on his department’s Leadership, and WASC Committees. He also coaches baseball and soccer for his sons.

Bob Pape:  Bob  is a retired school administrator. He worked for 10 years in all five counties served by Pathways as an educational leader as a Regional Director of the California School Leadership Academy. He created the first Independent Study program for Healdsburg USD. He was also Principal of Mountain View Continuation HS for five years, earning state honors. He ran a Drop-out Recovery program from a storefront in Windsor. His last position before he retired was Director of Educational Services for Healdsburg USD, where he was responsible for Curriculum Development and all state and federal testing.


Representation derives from Sonoma, Solano, and Napa counties.

2011-12 School Year

The Board of Directors outline the below dates for meetings. If it happens to be that there is no sufficient cause to have a meeting, it will be canceled. Agendas will be posted at learning centers, offices, and distributed electronically via eBulletins in accordance with the Brown Act. The agenda will verify the location and start time for each meeting which is generally held in the evening. Meetings will be broadcast via WebEx from identified Locations. Persons interested in attending this meeting remotely should contact Robert Tavonatti at robert.tavonatti@pathwayscharter.org for a WebEx invitation.
