Douglas Carr is an Independent Study Teacher (IST) for Pathways Charter School in Sonoma County. He is also Social Studies Department Chair. He began teaching high school in the 1980's in San Diego. Over the years, he has added a Multiple Subject Credential and a Masters in Education to his credentials. Past jobs include teaching at Point Loma High School as a History and English teacher, teaching for Garfield Adult School as an English as a Second Language Instructor, and in Sonoma County as a Home Hospice Teacher, for CAVA at the elementary school level, for Insight High School as an Online Social Studies Teacher, and now at Pathways with high school students.
