Douglas Carr is an Independent Study Teacher (IST) for Pathways Charter School in Sonoma County. He began teaching high school in the 1980's in San Diego. Over the years, he has added a Multiple Subject Credential and a Masters in Education to his credentials. Past jobs include teaching at Point Loma High School in History and English, teaching for Garfield Adult School as an English as a Second Language Instructor, and in Sonoma County as a Home Hospice Teacher, for CAVA at the elementary school level, for Insight High School as an Online Social Studies Teacher, and now at Pathways with elementary, middle school, and high school students since 2012. In his spare time, Douglas enjoys the great outdoors, loving hikes at regional parks and anywhere along our beautiful California coastline, as well as playing Disc Golf.  Douglas can be contacted at [email protected].
