Sara Jordan has worked at Pathways since 2002 as an Independent Study Teacher, Area Coordinator for Sonoma County, School-wide Academic Program Director and then in the fall of 2017 began as Executive Director. She received a BA in Mexican-American Studies from Sonoma State University in 1996 and the following year earned a bilingual multiple subject teaching credential. She worked briefly at Sheppard School in Santa Rosa teaching a bilingual 2nd/3rd grade class. However, she quickly realized that her passion was for alternative education which is when she found Pathways. She earned my Administrative Services Credential - tier 1 at Sonoma State and tier 2 through ACSA (Association of California School Administrators) and will finish her Master's in Educational Leadership in spring 2018.
