Curriculum & Tech Distribution: 3/20/20

Families 3.18.20

Schools delivering distance learning are considered essential services and therefore may still continue to operate on a limited capacity during the shelter in place. Our priority is to meet the needs of our students and families trying to participate in distance learning from home. Therefore, we will be setting up regular “distribution” days at all three of our regional learning centers (Rohnert Park, Vallejo and San Rafael).  These times will be posted on our google calendar, the website and this ebulletin. This week, the times are:

Friday March 20th between 11am and 1 PM at all 3 centers

At these events, families can check out technology items, pick-up curriculum items left by your child’s teacher and hopefully we will be able to offer some food service options for low income students. To request a chromebook or wifi hot spot please email your IST to ask for one, or email Brenda directly ([email protected]) with your name and list what is needed (chromebook and/or wifi hotspot). If your family would be interested in accessing packaged meals from our learning center on these distribution days, please complete this form so we can contact you when this option is available. Until such time as we can offer more food service support, we encourage families to take advantage of these local community resources:

Marin County

Sonoma County

Solano County

Napa County

Many educational companies have stepped forward to offer free subscriptions for their online accounts during the COVID-19 school closures.  Here is a listing of many of them, with more added every day: Amazing Educational Resources
