Solano/Napa Learning Center Update

Dear Napa and Solano families

I am writing with an update on our learning center locations for fall 2018. Sadly, the landlord at our new location on Poco Way in American Canyon could not reach acceptable terms with city which met our move/start-up timeline. We maintain a good working relationship with the landlord and city, but due to circumstances outside of our control we were forced to change our plans.  We will continue to operate in both Napa and Solano counties and to provide classes and support services in both counties. Luckily we were able to secure our same suites at 301 Georgia Street in Vallejo and are in the midsts of moving back to that site. Classes and student meetings will continue as usual at that site. We are taking advantage of the suites being empty to do some simple remodeling and reconfigurations of the spaces as well as heating and air upgrades. The class schedule will be posted in early August as usual and will contain classes very similar to previous years. As for Napa students, we will still close our office in Angwin. It is simply too large of a space for our current enrollment and staffing to support. However, we have signed a lease with Foothills Christian Fellowship at 2898 Laurel Street in Napa. We will lease that space on Fridays from 10am to 2pm. We are still determining what support services would be in highest demand and if you live in Napa we would like your input. We will be holding a parent forum on Monday August 20th at 11:00am at either our Angwin site or the Foothills Church (we will update you with location prior to the date).

We want to assure you that our teachers and learning centers will be up and running and August will be business as usual at Pathways with initial family meetings beginning the week of August 20th when the teachers return form their summer break. As for any future move, we will reform a site search committee to investigate options of a more centralized learning center to serve our diverse population. If you are a parent and would like to volunteer to be on this committee, please contact me. We are here to support you so please reach out with questions!
