Bio Notes

I have been an IST with Pathways since the school opened. My roster through the years has been diverse covering all grades. Currently I teach TK-8.

Over the years I have taught a wide variety of on-site classes everything from a K-2 grade class on animals to a junior high class on the history of manned space travel. This year I will teach a 7th Grade Math and a Reading Class for lower elementary students class.

My office at the Rohnert Park Learning Center is called the Butterfly Room. When I first started using the office I put a couple of butterfly stickers on the wall, the butterflies have taken over the room!  I share my office with my great friend and high school teacher, Tammy Dier,  She has come to appreciate butterflies.

I also will be coordinating Field Trips for Pathways for the 2022-2023 school year. This has been my passion for more than 10 years. Information on Field Trips can be found on the website under the academics tab.

A bit of my history...
Before becoming an IST I was a homeschooling mom. My homeschooling adventure began when I moved to Cloverdale in 1998. My oldest son attended West Sonoma Charter. My other two children attended and graduated from Pathways (see picture).

My educational background is in Communications. I received a BA from Cal State Fullerton and completed my credential work at Cal State Monterrey Bay.

Beyond my work, I am involved community service through The Kiwanis Club of Cloverdale.
